The Tall Can or the Forty ounce. Which one rules the corner store? Currently, I believe, the Tall Can has taken the place of the 40 oz. The Tall Can comes in a highly recyclable aluminum form which seems to be the choice for collected beverage receptacles. The 40 oz and its large glass container is much more likely to get broken and make alot of noise on a bike ride, not to mention that when broken it could cause you or other cyclists a nasty flat tire. The Tall Can is easily crushed and saved or just left on top of a trash can for anyone to collect for recycling. The 40 oz bottle is alot heavier and much more bulky than the Tall Can, posing problems after the contents have been “guzzled” or “slammed”. The Tall Can could be “shotgunned” for quick consumption and personal disposal of its liquid content for instant refreshment. So, the only question now posed is: which came first? the 40 or the Tall Can? photos Jones-
