All week on the radio “OMG, a half million extra people in SF this weekend!” for a few events in the city and the Blue Grass Festival in Golden Gate Park. Sure, whatever, all I knew was we had blaring techno and laser lights on a bike trailer ready to ride the streets of SF! Not many people out on this ride which meant we got lost all night from lagging at the stops, especially lost when we attempted to cut through the Presidio at the end of the ride. “Are you going to Golden Gate!?” was a question I asked a fellow cyclist climbing a hill ahead of us(one of what seemed like 10) on our way back to the start of the ride. “Yes” she said, then 10 minutes later I realized…”the Park! the Park”, oh man not the dang bridge! The Ride SFO BMX guys had a box jump setup also at the end of the ride and busted out a quick demo for the SF Bike Party crowd. Crowd officially pleased! Not too hard when Jason Lopez is on his bike.
